In the real world, Pluffina is the alter-ego of novelist Joshilyn Jackson. Joshilyn and her husband Scott (aka Bob McManyThings) are devoted geek-head gamers who have been playing UO since August of 2000.

In the World of Sosaria, Pluffina was born on Moonglow in Sonoma. She came into the world full grown, violently pink, and possessing no marketable skills. 

Pluffy decided to become a tank mage, but that dream died (along with Pluffy) when her right side became aquainted with an Ophidian Matriarch while her left side was cozying up to an Ophidian Knight Errant. "OOOoooOOO," said Pluffy. (Translation: "I think I'll be a scribe!")

One Tiny Problem: SCRIBING IS HIDEOUSLY MINDBOGGLINGLY HATEFULLY ENDLESSLY DULL!

Pluffy passed the time she spent scribing by having long, heartfelt, intimate conversations with her stuffed bear, and then someone helpfully pointed out that THERE ARE NO STUFFED BEARS IN UO. To stave off encroaching "scribble madness," Pluffy started decorating her house while waiting for her mana cup to refill. For months she decorated her house, starting at the top and working her way to the bottom, and then tearing the whole thing up and starting over.

She learned all the tricks of the trade, how to stack and float, and how to make a piece of a clock, a bowl of corn, and a barrel lid look like a toilet. Eventually she had done everything it is possible to do to one small tower. Her house breathed a sigh of relief as Pluff bounced out the front door to pester her guildmates for co-owner status so she could pop all their furniture with an axe (to get "a fresh canvas" ) and forget to lock down 250K fruit bowls. OOPS!

But practice makes perfect! And soon, something strange happened. Instead of Pluffy pestering her guildmates, they were pestering her to do their houses next. It was time to go pro. She spent over a year hiring herself ouyt to dec everything from one room wooden shacks to castles.

With the introduction of the DECO TOOL, deccing got so easy anyone could do it with no tricks needed. Pluffy stopped decorating other people's houses and devoted her time to making How-To pages so folks could get the looks they want. And with the deco tool, most things are a breeze!

Pluffina is a Legendary Tailor and Shopper, an Elder Mage, Evaluator of Intelligence and Meditator, and a GM Fisherman and Scribe. She is married to Bob McForge (aka Scott), a Legendary multi-talented craftsman. She's a Stratics moderator and also acts as a reporter on the Sonoma Shard.
