Shooting Gallery I dropped a tram stone by the YMCA (a blessed player run tavern on Sonoma) and ended up at a large tower owned by SGA. As you can see in the pic, it boasts just about the coolest archery shooting range I have ever seen.

I decided to see if I could steal it, cutting it down by one tile so it would fit into a small room at a castle. These directions are for the smaller version, but to make the larger one you just add another Yew table and another long wooden table, and plan for an extra row of tiles. This version takes a 4 x 4 cube of tiles …First, as always, you need to gather your materials.

1) Stack the fist ten Gnarled staves in the westernmost tile you plan to use. Remember, always build West to East (or North to South) so you do not block your line of sight. Gnarled staves are tricky to stack. Try targeting in the spot where you see the cursor pointing. Lock all ten staves down.

2) Place the two Yew tables so they overlap, and the second one butts up against the wall of gnarled staves. You want them to be the same color, but I have them dyed differently so you can see how you want them to end up. Trying to get them to stack like that can be enraging. If they hop into an “L” shape, feel free to lock them and use the TURN function of the dec tool to make them end up as they are pictured. Lock em down!

3) This next part is a bit tricky. You want divide your logs into nine
stacks of two. So everytime I say “logs” I mean a stack of 2 logs together.
Starting at the yew table that is partially underneath the main table,
make a stack on top of thre table in this order:
--Logs
--Bolt
--Logs
-- Bolt
--Logs
Lock em all down!

4) As you can see, the ends of the logs kind of disappear under the
main table. So what you want to do is take your dec tool and Set it to
Raise.
Raise the top logs 5 times.
Then raise the top bolt five times.
Then raise the middle logs five times.
Then raise the second bolt five times,
Then raise the last logs five times.
5) We are going to almost repeat stop four on the next table, but you don’t want your bolts and arrows sticking in the back of the range to be identical. So this time let’s just put one arrow in between 2 of the logs. So that stack on the second table will go like this: Logs, Logs, Arrow, Logs

6) Because we only used one arrow, we need to raise the top log, the arrow, and the middle log SIX spaces. Then raise the last log only 5.
7) The last 3 log stacks will go on the floor next to the main
table. I am not going to put any arrows or bolts in this wall, although
may choose to do your arrows/bolts however you like. Lock the logs down.

8) Raise the top logs 13 times. Raise the middle logs 12 times. Raise the bottom logs 11 times.
9) Now let’s scatter some bottles and loose bolts and arrows on top of the tables. Some you can just set on the tables. Some you can put on the ground in front of the tables and raise with the dec tool until they appear to be resting on the tables. Play with it until you have an arrangment on the table tops that pleases you.

10) Place the Hay on the tiles in front of your gallery and lock them both down.
11) Use the other 10 Gnarled staves to build the wall on the other side of the gallery.
12) Stack the two long wooden tables in the tiles in front of the hay. The long wooden tables will overlap just as the Yew tables will.
13) Attempt to set the music stand on top of the table that is farthest west. (The one that disappears UNDER the main table.) The music stand will fall down in between the two tables. Lock it down and use the dec tool to lower it twice.
14) Place a heavy crossbow on top of the western table. It will hop to the top of the music stand. Lock it down, and raise it twice with the dec tool.

15) Then scatter other bits of archery equipment about on the long wooden
tables: a bow or crossbow, shafts, arrows, bolts, feathers…whatever you
like.
